Amazing: With the HCP divided 19-21, Double Dummy says N/S can make 10 Spade tricks. WOW!

The South that leads the Ace of Diamonds, barely set a 2 Club contract one trick.

Janet & I teach NOT to lead an "unprotected" Ace (An ace without having the King by its side) against a suit contract.

We also teach you should "try" not to Under lead a King (without the Queen) against a suit contract.

The 2 of Hearts is the best lead, and got the BEST result when defending this hand.

This is a good lesson here!

Louie/Jones found the Best Lead against a SUIT contract. The King from a KQ holding.

Another GOOD lesson on the importance of Leads.

The leaders of the "unprotected" Ace of Spades were "lucky" that partner held the King and even more lucky to hold the KJx "over" the Qxxx.

N/S can ALWAYS defeat 3 NT on the King of Diamonds lead.

TOP OF A RUN - King of Diamonds is a natural and ordinary lead.

North can NOT wait to take their Ace of Diamonds until the 4th diamond trick, else South NEVER gets to cash the 3 and 2 of Diamonds, for Down TWO!

Double Dummy says N/S can make 11 tricks in & .
E/W can make 11 tricks in & .

"Duplicate Bridge" "belongs" to the "bidders".

The HCP are divided 20-20! But EVERYBODY has a Singleton.

When "YOU" have unusual "distribution" others may also!

E/W AND N/S each have DOUBLE 9 card "fits".

"Double" fits often mean you can take a lot of tricks!

IF North passes and East opens 1 of a Minor.

IF South Overcalls 1 Heart and west plays No Trump, North gets off to a "nice" Heart lead.

LEADS!

North should ALWAYS lead the Heart Ace or King to get a look at dummy!

South plays 10, then 8 (showing hi-low) and gets a RUFF, then cashed two ACES to take 5 tricks.
