North opens 1, East passes, and South bids 1. That makes life a little difficult for West, so he passes, and now North rebids 2NT. South has no quarrel with that, so raises to 3NT.
There's a much smaller chance now that East will lead (unless West had doubled to ask for a lead), so declarer stands an excellent chance of making this. If the defense doesn't take their 5 tricks, declarer can instead get 1 (2 if East leads them), 4, and 4.

East has a very very good hand, but should be content with opening just 1 since he has only 17 HCP. South passes and West game forces into 2, so East gets very excited now. North passes, and East jumps to 3 to set the trump suit (jumps in 2/1 auctions should be rare creatures with very specific meanings) and ask partner to cuebid. West shows the A (but not the A or A), and that might be enough to scare East off a little bit, but if he can find a way to discover partner's 2nd round control of (or just takes a leap of faith because partner bid 2/1), then 6 looks pretty good.
Indeed, that missing A is the only loser!

South passes and West opens 1. North passes and East responds 1 (unless there is some kind of reverse Flannery in play.) West rebids 1NT and East goes through whatever type of New Minor Forcing they play, finds no Major suit fit, and places the contract in 3NT.
It is true that with 12-opposite-12 we'd generally like to be in game, but this one struggles with lack of fit and source of tricks. Declarer can really only get to 1, 4, 1, and 1, although the defense could help with and maybe even give declarer 2 more tricks there/a tempo for , although it's not terribly likely without really trying, and a lead isn't a good idea from that holding anyways, so when North leads a , declarer is sunk.

West passes and North opens 1. East overcalls with a Michaels Cue Bid 2, which South probably just passes. West prefers 2, and so it'll be up to North to compete, but with a hole-y suit and vulnerable, he may just let it go, and when it gets around to South, he also will likely just pass and hope there's a way to beat this maybe.
But there's not, if played correctly. Declarer should lose just 1, 2, and 2, but that does require that the defense doesn't lead and give declarer a pitch right away, and that the defense builds their second trick by leading them.

North opens 1 (maybe 2, but really with the shape and concentrated values, this is a regular opening hand), and East passes. South bids a (semi-)forcing 1NT, planning to show the 3-card limit raise next, and West passes (or maybe bids 2.) North rebids 2 and South raises to at least 3, and might even bump to 4 if partner freely bid 2 over 2. If South does just bid 3 and West had overcalled 2, then North would more highly value his void and go to game anyway, maybe. It's also always possible North undervalues things and passes in 3.
But with the helpful AK tight in West, declarer only has those 2 losers total!

East opens 1, which South passes. West answers 1, which North passes, and East rebids 1NT. West could invite with these (and East would accept), but he could also rate his extra length as extra useful and just bid 4.
Even with East's K wasted, this hand is not a problem for declarer. He loses 2 as long as the defense doesn't help him by leading them, and he can get away with no losers if he takes the finesse for the J, which he might have a shot at getting right by counting the hand carefully.

South opens 1, so West passes. North responds 1, and South rebids 1NT to show the balanced hand. North bids New Minor Forcing to go looking for the 4-4 fit, and finding it with South, probably goes ahead and bids 4, giving full value to the K.
This can be beaten if the defense goes passive, leaving declarer with his 2 and 2 to lose, but if North declares and East leads a , they'll give declarer a chance to pitch a on a and potentially make this if he reads the position in and correctly.

West opens 1NT (or possibly 1, with a decent 2 rebid over partner's likely 1NT). But over 1NT, North passes, and East transfers to , and just passes. (Over 1, this probably does indeed go 1NT - 2, and then East just corrects to 2, which West would need to pass even if he felt like he hadn't shown his full hand, which he probably doesn't, and bids 2NT, which East passes.)
Even with the fairly horrendous break, this 2 is the making contract. Declarer has the spots, so can lose 1, 2, and 1, and then probably a long in order to keep control of the hand.
