North opens 2 and East passes, so South starts with a non-game forcing response if possible. But when North rebids 2NT, showing 22-24 points, South knows he has enough values for game, so now he can bid Stayman. North shows , so South just bids 3NT.
All the suits are well under control here, so the defense may need to make sure they actively go after their 3 tricks by West leading whenever he can. Then the defense should get their 2 Aces and the K.

East opens 1, South passes, and West responds 1. North also passes, and East rebids 2. West probably won't go anywhere with that, and neither North nor South has enough value or shape to bid, so that's that.
would have scored better for the same 8 tricks as it happens, and in 2 declarer loses 2, 1, 1, and 1.

South passes, West passes, and North opens 1NT. East overcalls 2, and so South will just pass. West passes that now, but when North comes back in with 3, West bumps to 3, which probably ends the auction.
Assuming South leads/plays the T (to keep partner from being endplayed), this should go down one with East declaring (losing 1, 1, 2, and 1). (If he doesn't lead it originally, he may open the door for declarer to squeeze the defenders.)

AiB Team - Robert Todd and Theri Andino Hand Analysis

West opens 1, and North passes. East has some choices - he could either make an Inverted Minors bid of 2 or an invitational bid of 2NT. West is likely to pass as soon as he can - so either just passing the 2NT bid or just bidding 3, or bidding 2 to show a stopper over 2 and then passing 2NT when East bids it, unless East continues to avoid NT and bids 3.
But it seems like EW probably try to play 2NT here. Declarer always has 5, 1, and 1, but then the defense will have to do something helpful for an 8th trick - and if South is on lead, that might very well be a lead! If he does play in instead, he just loses the 2 and a and then sets up the rest of the .

North passes and East opens 2NT. South passes and West doesn't have a great hand but does have enough to bid 3NT.
Declarer is happy to see that West has , although they won't turn out to be the source of tricks he was hoping for. He'll still take a safety play/finesse there, however, and should be able to get 2 tricks, 3 tricks, and then will have to guess how to deal with the Majors. If he chooses to go after , he can get 2 tricks there and then endplay the defenders into playing to give him 2 tricks there also (or use the A entry to take the finesse.)

East passes and South opens 1. West overcalls 1, so North likely passes with such a weak hand. East has a very understandable 4 bid, and that ends the auction.
As long as the defense doesn't let declarer pitch a loser on a , there should be 4 tricks for them here with 2, 1, and 1, defeating the game. But NS could have made 3, so this may not be so bad!

South opens 1 and West doubles. If North can raise to 2 without promising much of anything besides a fit, he will, but most will probably pass. East bids 2 instead (or 3 if needed), and South may not want to give up - but 3 seems a bit much, so maybe just a 2 bid, but maybe also just a pass. West has no problem bumping to 3, and that should be enough to convince East to go to game.
Beating the game will be up to the defense to get South a ruff before declarer gets in to pull trump (A, A, underlead the to get to North, return a .) Otherwise declarer just has 1 and 2 to lose.

West passes and North opens 1. East passes and South starts with 1. North probably then rebids 1NT (not perfect, but not a lie), and South may just leave it there with such a ratty 10-count.
The defense can try, but there's really no stopping this contract, so the challenge will be keeping it to just the 1 overtrick. Declarer should get 4, 2, and 2.
